Wedzi ("we", "our", "us") is a sole-proprietorship business operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME], with its registered office at [YOUR ADDRESS]. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and other applicable laws of India.

All user data is stored in India (AWS Mumbai region) in compliance with the DPDP Act.
We retain account data while your account is active and for up to seven years thereafter for tax and regulatory compliance. You can request deletion at any time by writing to privacy@wedzi.in.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest), strict access controls, and regular security audits. Payment data is never stored on our servers — it is handled entirely by Razorpay.
Wedzi is not directed at users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

By using Wedzi, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Wedzi is a digital marketplace connecting couples planning their wedding ("Couples") with vendors offering wedding services ("Vendors"), including but not limited to photographers, makeup artists, and caterers. Wedzi facilitates discovery, communication, and booking; the contracted service is delivered by the Vendor.
Wedzi is an intermediary. We do not directly provide wedding services. We are not a party to the underlying service agreement between Couples and Vendors. We are responsible for the operation of the platform, the integrity of payments processed through it, and the dispute-resolution procedures set out in these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use Wedzi.
All payments are processed through Razorpay. Couples pay a token advance to lock the booking; the balance is paid before or on the event date. Wedzi charges Vendors a commission of 10%–15% per confirmed booking; this commission is deducted from the Vendor payout. Couples are not charged any platform fee.

Violations may result in account suspension, withholding of payouts, and reporting to law-enforcement authorities where applicable.
You retain ownership of content (photos, videos, text) you upload to Wedzi but grant Wedzi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform and in Wedzi's marketing materials, for as long as your account is active.
Wedzi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Vendors. Couples are responsible for their own due diligence before contracting with a Vendor.
To the extent permitted by law, Wedzi's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the platform fees paid by you to Wedzi in the preceding twelve months, or ₹10,000, whichever is greater. Wedzi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may close your account at any time by writing to support@wedzi.in. Wedzi may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, subject to the resolution of any outstanding bookings and payouts.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [YOUR CITY], India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

Wedding plans change. We try to make refunds simple and fair to both sides. Every Vendor publishes one of three cancellation policies on their profile; you (the Couple) agree to that policy at the time of booking. The schedules below apply to cancellations initiated by the Couple. Cancellations initiated by the Vendor are always refunded in full, plus a vendor reliability penalty.

Cancel from the booking detail screen in the app, or write to support@wedzi.in with your booking ID. Vendor cancellations are made from the Vendor's app.
If you believe a refund has been calculated incorrectly or a Vendor has failed to deliver the booked service, raise a dispute within 7 days of the event date by writing to disputes@wedzi.in. Wedzi will review the booking history, chat record, and supporting evidence from both sides and issue a final decision within 14 working days. Decisions may include partial or full refunds, vendor penalties, or both.
If a Vendor does not arrive for the booked service:
If a payment is debited from your account but the booking does not confirm within 10 minutes, the amount is automatically refunded by Razorpay. No action is needed from you. Most failed payments settle within the same business day.
